Founded in 2011, the Association of Professional Fund Investors (APFI) was created by and for its membership. APFI is an all-volunteer, non-profit registered in the UK as a Community Interest Company (#12030238). APFI members are all professional fund investors - professionals whose principal occupation is the identification and evaluation of investment managers, funds, vehicles, etc. that are external to their own organization. The APFI is run by its Board of Directors, which is elected by its Leadership Team, with the independent counsel of our esteemed Advisory Board.
APFI promotes best practices in fund investing by setting global standards of professionalism and accreditation, while empowering professional fund investors to learn, share ideas, network with their peers, and have a collective voice to national and global standards bodies and regulatory authorities.
APFI strives to enhance the competitiveness and overall quality of asset management products in the marketplace through its members continuously demanding exceptional quality from asset managers.
